My stacks and stacks of design magazines are like my friends. In fact, they are my steady companions on airplanes, by the pool, or late at night in bed. Great design makes me happy. I remember following my mother's designer around our house as a young girl. I loved the transformation. Good design exudes extreme talent - I never claimed to be the omniscient designer (or a great writer, for that matter!), but I will share with you the things that make me smile.
